An Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress also a producer as well as writer. Davis began her acting career as an actor for children in television commercials. The show offered her the role of one of the series' regulars when she was a young child in the popular television show, Charles In Charge. The show was rated number-one on syndication. Josie was nominated three times for the prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, that she was awarded for her character of Sarah Powell. In her adult years and as the actor in many television series, Davis received two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Although she had the option of enrolling in USC's highly regarded writing program, Davis took the decision to stay in performing, pursuing a rigorous course with Paul E Richards. Paul E Richards for twenty years. At the age of 24, Davis auditioned for Hollywood heavyweights, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. With just one performance, Davis was admitted to the legendary Actors Studio as a member with working privileges, then was promoted to Lifetime Member after only her request for a callback. Davis was one of only two applicants in this year's auditions, out of over 1,000 actors.
